Our custom made and color matched motor housing incases an AC synchronous motor that fully uncoupled from the plinth. This system works by driving the subplater under the main platter for a sleek simple look, and ease of operation.

Inside the stone exterior the motor is suspended using vibration damping rubber to further reduce vibrations through the belt or transfer vibrations to the surface the motor sitting on.

To further isolate the motor we use sorbathane as an anti-vibration, but also to secure the motor to the surface that it is placed on. It is shipped with the protective film still attatched to keep this surface clean.

We use Tonearms from Pro ject, with precision machined one piece arm wand, and carefully calibrated bearings. These Tonearms are equipped with an anti-skate device that is simple and effective.

The Bearing well on these turntables uses a bronze sleeve with hardened steel spindle to make sure it stays true and does not add vibrations into the platter. This rides on a thrust plate made of Teflon to reduce friction, this coupled with regular oiling assures long bearing life.

Here at WGS Audio we take pride in the finishing touches and aesthetics. we 3D print these boxes to match the shape of the plinth and isolate all audio signals from the housing and plinth.
